Corporate Planning With e-Elements Overview This one-day instructor-led course includes self-paced and instructor-facilitated components. The course examines the opportunities for use of the Internet in extending e-trading and/or e-government to all types of organisation. It shows how to plan, implement, and evaluate supply chain, partnerships, portals, delivery, distribution, payment systems, intelligence and statutory activities through the Internet. Corporate planning is a disciplined activity. It is iterative in that objectives must be evaluated against
    (a) market or other external practicalities and (b) internal resources available.
If the balance between those factors do not enable the objectives to be realistically achieved, either objectives or resources must be changed. Internet technologies introduce opportunities to change the resource aspect of the balance. Objectives At the end of the course, students will be able to:

Audience This course is appropriate for those who are involved in business planning and/or strategic planning for their organisations in marketing and market research departments who wish to be introduced or refreshed about methods of doing market research on the Internet. Prerequisites Apart from general experience of corporate administration, there are no prerequisites for this course, however attendees should:
  • Be computer literate to Microsoft Office standard.
