Before attending this course, students must have:

  • Basic computer knowledge, such as keyboard and mouse skills

  • Use toolbars and task panes
  • Create a SharePoint site hierarchy
  • Delete a SharePoint site
  • Insert text, ScreenTips, hyperlinks, Web components, and images
  • Add client-side interactivity
  • Create a table layout
  • Create a Basic Meeting Workspace site
  • Create a Web Part page by using a browser
  • Create an ASP.NET page
  • Change the default page for a Web site
  • Delete a Web page
  • Create a list
  • Modify a built-in List View page or List Form page
  • Create a List View page
  • Create and customire a List View Web Part
  • Insert a Web Part rone
  • Add a Web Part and modify Web Part properties

In addition, students should understand the following products, services, and concepts:

  • SharePoint Designer and Windows SharePoint Services
